Hillside Welsh croft cottage "off the beaten track" (not suitable for posh cars!), hidden away at the base of Anelog mountain, with breathtaking sea and mountain views, even the Wicklow mountains in Ireland on a clear day, set amidst National Trust conservation land. Ideal retreat for honeymooners, walkers, birdwatchers, and the stressed out. Direct access from your front gate to the Lleyn Coastal path which takes you to Whistling Sands and beyond one way, and Bardsey Island viewpoint and Aberdaron Bay the other.

Approached from the hamlet of Uwchmynydd up a track leading through farmland and gates you arrive at Talcen Foel cottage forecourt with parking for one car.

 There is also a picnic table for outside dining.

Accommodation is for 4 persons max. with one double room with sea views, and one twin-bedded room with views towards Anelog.

Galleried crog-loft den above accessed by wooden ladder offers an ideal quiet reading and relaxation area.

Kitchen/Diner with original beams and quarry tiled floor. Fitted galley kitchen with fridge, small freezer, full electric cooker, microwave and washing machine.

One step down takes you into the spacious lounge with beamed ceiling, additional dining area, and comfortable seating in front of a multi-fuel wood-burner. T.V. and DVD.

Coastal and mountain views and superb western sunsets can be viewed through windows on three sides, and a back door leads out to a small patio with garden furniture.

Now in its 10th year of lettings, it has become a perfect haven for regular guests wanting a quiet get away, yet only ten minutes from
Aberdaron village, with local shops/bars/cafes and lovely long safe sandy beach for swimming and sailing.
Narrow country lanes around the peninsular are also ideal for cyclists, with miles of mapped cycle routes, so bring your bikes!
Available throughout the year: bookings from Fri-Fri from £295-£ 595. Electricity included.
Linen and towels NOT provided.
Storage heaters included for low-season bookings; supplement of £35 at other times.
Small pet by prior arrangement with the owner, at a cost of £35 pw. Advance booking highly recommended.
